Think Syphilis Campaign
From 2020 to 2024, cases of congenital syphilis increased by 66% in Maricopa County, Arizona, culminating in Arizona ranking 4th in the nation for rates of congenital syphilis. In response to the rise in congenital syphilis cases, Maricopa County Department of Public Health has launched a campaign called, “Think Syphilis.” The aim of this campaign is to increase awareness and to encourage everyone to get tested and treated.
